LOS ANGELES, (March 5, 2023) — On April 13, 2023, Tapatío’s Green Chile hot sauce was added to the “Hot Ones” with Sean Evans lineup on the episode featuring actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

Green Chile is an exciting new flavor modeled after Tapatío founder Jose-Luis Saavedra, Sr.’s love for his grandmother's garden. It has a Scoville rating of 300 and is a mild to medium spiced hot sauce that adds a fresh profile to any dish.

“Of course I love Tapatío but I have to say, Green Chile is my favorite,” Evans said. “I know the Traditional Picante is the expected pick, the more conventional pick, but I like working outside the box – that’s something I’ve come to admire about the Tapatío team too, we share that innovative and entrepreneurial spirit.”

The ‘Hot Ones’ interview show was founded in March of 2015 by Evans, a former Complex Magazine writer. The show’s tagline is "The show with hot questions, and even hotter wings” and sees Evans interrogate his celebrity guests on their upcoming projects and personal relationships. Past guests span the A-list gauntlet from Billie Eilish to Florence Pugh.
